This training for the more experienced tech incorporates the two-day Commercial Rolling and Rolling Steel Fire Door class from IDEA with hands-on installation and inspection procedures. In order to follow NFPA 80 requirements you must pass and become certified to work on existing fire doors. At our facility you can TRAIN,TEST and get ALL 10 drop tests necessary to get certified.

Some things to expect are:

• Working with (2) motor operated rolling fire doors,
• Working with doors connected to fire alarm control panels.
• Proper Inspection Procedures for Fire Doors
• Various manufacturers of Fire Doors
• Installs
• Proper Routing of fuse links

Cost is $900 per person.

Dec 11-12. Class hours: Day one 8am – 4pm; Day two 7.30am – 3pm (review from 7.30am to 8am, testing starts at 8am).
